Dear citizens of Daejeon! I am Lee Sang-rae, the chairperson of Daejeon Metropolitan City Council.

The ninth Daejeon Metropolitan City Council started in the midst of the expectations and support of our citizens.

For new changes and development in Daejeon, the ninth Daejeon Metropolitan City Council will be recreated as a hard-working institution.

We will form an open, communicative council, which represents and listens to diverse opinions of citizens.
Through rational supervision of, and partnership with, the city administration, and by proposing substantial policies, we will strengthen our capacity and will do our best to make Daejeon a city where citizens are happy and everyone is prosperous.

The ninth Daejeon Metropolitan City Council will strongly create a hopeful future for Daejeon collectively with the citizens.
