Promotion of Citizen Participation and Resolution of Grievances of Residents
We monitor and supervise the administrative execution status of the major divisions of the executive entities that play pivotal roles in municipal administration such as planning and coordination of administrative affairs, sound financial management, and evaluation of investment efficiency. We also provide our opinions so that the major city policies can be implemented for the interests of the public. This is in line with our aim to earn people’s trust through our activities.
In addition to devoting ourselves to resolving the grievances of the local residents by closely inspecting the sectors that impact the everyday lives of citizens, we will lay the groundwork for citizen autonomy by inducing the participation of civic organizations in the city administration.
We will boost morale among the public servants through education and personnel management befitting the information and knowledge age, and tighten discipline among public servants to enhance conscientiousness and integrity. We will also create a cyber world by promoting informatization for the citizens and city administration.
Furthermore, we will turn Daejeon into a vibrant and dynamic cultural city by fostering festivals that accentuate the local characteristics and national-scale cultural and arts events.
